The title translates ‘1 litre of tears‘. Based on a true story, this drama series is about Aya Ikeuchi who is suffering from some kind of an incurable disease, but lived her life to the fullest until her death at 25; The original story is based on the diary Aya kept writing until she could no longer hold a pen.The drama has been around for quite awhile already, It is probably a bit late for me to write something about it, sorry I’m not active in the japanese dorama scene. Judging by the title, you’d probably guessed that it’s a sad drama. Upon watching the first episode, I have to say it is damn sad. My heart was so full I almost felt like crying lol. More likely than not, I would cry for real if I continue watching the next episodes. I decide not to watch the entire series, I fear that it would affect me and it would take me a week or two to get over it.
